The person should be self-starter, adaptable with attentive to detail and able to work with minimal supervision. What You Will Do: u00b7 Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment. u00b7 Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement. u00b7 Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders. u00b7 Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness. u00b7 Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices. u00b7 Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles. u00b7 Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work. u00b7 Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies. What You Will Need: u00b7 Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools. u00b7 Must be capable of leading multiple crews (up to 15 technicians). u00b7 Must understand customer service, perform job walks and communicate with customer for job requirements. u00b7 Accept responsibility of outcome of work performed by him/her and/or by employee that directly report to him/her. u00b7 Clear understanding of job safety requirements. u00b7 Be able to read and understand job floor plan. u00b7 Should be familiar on wiring schemes and wiring testing. u00b7 Should be able to pull all types of low voltage cables. u00b7 Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling. u00b7 Capable of maintaining orderly paperwork, capable of running midsize to large projects and service jobs. u00b7 Possess skill to layout MDF and IDF closets, be able to dress all types of cable and perform all types of terminations and should include basic understanding of fiber equipment, all types of cable and fiber terminations. u00b7 Basic understanding of both copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting. u00b7 Capable of working in Data Centers. u00b7 Shall be able to work on analog, DSL, and be able to extend T1 lines. u00b7 Be able to patch network equipment. u00b7 Reports to Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II, Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians. u00b7 Installing any structured or non-structure cabling u00b7 Run any size installation, moves or changes. u00b7 Work in conjunction with project schedules u00b7 Manage and control labor and materials on assigned u00b7 Ensure all task and work orders have proper scope u00b7 Recognizes and recommends applicable training u00b7 Supports both new deployment and live site/product u00b7 Coordinates with Logistics on material moves u00b7 Identify Staging Area for materials u00b7 Inventory staged materials as needed u00b7 Coordinates with QAQC on quality final walk u00b7 Ability to lead multiple crews Why CBRE: When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
