DescriptionWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of the following location: Seattle, WA, USA As a Systems Development Engineer on this team, you will collaborate with other experienced and senior software engineers to drive improvements to our technology, operate and maintain services and software solutions, and build and track metrics to ensure high quality results. Your solutions will help provide the ultimate customer service experience needed to anticipate and resolve customer's questions using an automated assistant. You will have the opportunity to work with business partners, leadership and other engineers, influence and drive product vision and lead the design of our systems. Key job responsibilities Primary responsibilities include, maintaining the IAM (Identity and Access Management) infra of Amazon. We are using Microsoft Entra ID to provide identity to M365 suite of productivity tooling. The candidate is expected to manage and drive secure configuration and feature in Entra ID tenant with AWS technology being in forefront. u2022 Expert knowledge in IAM domain with prior experience in AzureAD/Entra ID and Amazon's Identity Center. u2022 Managed and configured roles, permissions, applications in Entra ID/Azure AD tenant and in supplemental portals like Purview, Defender. u2022 Diagnosing and fixing production issues, developing monitoring solutions for IAM services, performing software maintenance and configuration. u2022 Implementing the fix for internally developed code (Microsoft DSC ,Graph API, SCIM, Python, JAVA), debugging and executing persistence solutions queries, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges. u2022 Writing design documents, building new IAM solutions to support customer needs. u2022 Responsibilities also include working alongside development on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes, documentation of our systems, manage AFSS org level operational cadence and programs. Basic Qualifications- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience - Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems) - Experience automating and configuring systems using the Desired State Configuration (DSC) in a large enterprise environmentPreferred Qualifications- Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java - Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
