This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: H2A workers will be loading and unloading containerized plants,shifting plants from one size container to a larger container, wateringand weeding plants, or doing maintenance on the plants. ForkliftOperator: The forklift operator, loads and unloads the trucks/trailersthat are transporting the plants to the different Ranches or fields;employee is responsible to move the full carts that leave thegermination room into the tunnels; the employee is responsible forunloading the trucks that arrive with peat moss(soil) and vermiculitethat is used for the seeding; employee is responsible to place palletswith trays, peat moss(soil), vermiculite and all other items that areused to complete this task.The employee must wear Company provided protective gear at all timesincluding dust mask, gloves and safety glasses.Tractor Operator: Drive and control farm equipment to till, plant,cultivate, mow, and harvest crops. Many operations such as maintenanceand or repair require good physical ability and knowledge. Operators mayride equipment such as irrigation tape injectors and or plastic mulchlaying equipment. Harvest trailers, loading and unloading of seed,plants, materials and chemicals by hand or forklifts.
