We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health Organization: SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento Position Overview: Performs routine and specialized interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, or electrophysiology procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment, and uses clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Job Description : EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program OR Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program OR Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist program CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: When working in Interventional Radiology: + ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologists + CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist + RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy + BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider TYPICAL EXPERIENCE : 3 years recent relevant experience Job Shift: Days Schedule: Per Diem/Casual Shift Hours: 8 Days of the Week: Variable Weekend Requirements: Rotating Weekends Benefits: No Unions: No Position Status: Non-Exempt Weekly Hours: 0 Employee Status: Per Diem/Casual Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines.
