Come join our teamThe Universal Waste Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales and program adoption across WTG's national commercial accounts. This role focuses on promoting universal waste, e-waste, and other specialized recycling solutions while providing technical guidance and program support for commercial clients, including those in Rumpke territories.Responsibilities of Position:National Account Management:Support WTG's national commercial accounts by identifying universal waste and e-waste opportunities, improving client programs, and providing targeted technical guidanceDevelop and execute account-specific strategies to drive adoption of one-off or specialized recycling solutionsServe as the primary WTG contact for universal waste-related initiatives within assigned accounts, coordinating with internal teams to deliver seamless serviceSales & Program Development:Independently research industry trends and develop new program ideas for commercial clientsCollaborate with the National Sales Manager to identify growth opportunities and implement solution-based sales strategiesProvide training, workshops, and resources to client teams to enhance program effectivenessCollaboration & Compliance:Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure programs comply with federal, state, and local universal waste regulationsWork across regions as needed to support commercial client needs within Rumpke territoriesMaintain accurate records of client interactions, program results, and business development activitiesPerform other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibility:This position will not manage employeesSkills & Abilities Needed for Position:Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to follow up on activitiesAbility to present and communicate in a professional mannerStrong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsMust be organized and have good time management skillsProven ability to manage multiple accounts and drive program adoption across diverse commercial clientsHigh degree of motivation, creativity, and persistence in developing and implementing new ideas and in finding solutions to problemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience & Knowledge Needed for Position:Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience in sales, account management, or environmental programs considered3-5 years of experience in national or regional account management, preferably with exposure to universal waste, e-waste, or environmental service solutions requiredKnowledge of federal, state, and local recycling/universal waste regulations is a plusPhysical Requirements in a Regular Workday:Rarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 50 lbsFrequently sitting/standing/walkingAdditional Working Conditions/Aspects:Ability to travel between offices, as requiredAbility to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as neededLegally eligible to work in the United StatesValid driver
