You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.ResponsibilitiesDirects and coordinates Gilbane's trade contractors and their sub-contractors, to ensure high-quality work that meets the approved project scheduleSupervises and develops the project teamManages the project budget for general conditions and Next 150/Site ServicesDevelops, documents, and communicates the work plan regarding changes made in the fieldLeads site walks with the owner, architect/engineer, and financial institutions to show construction progressMaintains a thorough understanding of contract documents in order to coordinate trades, plan ahead, and proactively anticipate potential problemsObtains or verifies that subcontractors obtain all necessary permits for construction purposesFollows-up with the appropriate Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to schedule and complete necessary inspectionsActs as primary safety representative in the field, monitoring safety performance and verifying safety compliance with all tradesDevelo
