Human Resources Specialist

Description We are looking for a highly organized and resourceful Human Resources Specialist to join our client's team in Houston, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing recruitment, payroll processing, employee relations, and compliance tracking with precision and efficiency. You will play a key part in fostering a positive workplace environment while ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage recruitment processes including sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring decisions. u2022 Utilize job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and other networking tools to identify and attract top talent. u2022 Oversee onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure smooth transitions for employees. u2022 Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and maintain accurate personnel records. u2022 Process payroll efficiently and ensure accuracy using ADP systems. u2022 Facilitate open enrollment for employee benefits and provide guidance throughout the process. u2022 Address employee relations matters by resolving conflicts and handling disciplinary actions effectively. u2022 Monitor compliance with HR policies and prepare necessary reports to maintain regulatory standards. u2022 Support the implementation and management of HRIS systems to streamline administrative tasks. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. u2022 Strong knowledge of HR administration processes, including onboarding and benefit functions. u2022 Proficiency in HRIS systems to manage personnel data effectively. u2022 Familiarity with ADP payroll systems for accurate processing. u2022 Ability to coordinate recruitment activities and use advanced sourcing strategies. u2022 Experience in managing compliance reporting and regulatory requirements. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills to handle multiple HR functions. u2022 Tech-savvy with expertise in leveraging social media and networking platforms for recruitment.
