Weinberger Waste Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a safety conscious Laborer/Heavy Equipment Operator to join our GROWING team in Phoenix, AZ Pay: $20.00 per hour + $2,500 stay on bonus Schedule: Day shift rotating schedule M-F and Rotating Saturdays Why join us? DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022Repairs on property damage, including enclose walls and fencing. u2022General repairs in and around property. Tools are provided. u2022Operates a skid steers u2022Assembles, repairs, and washes trash and recycle containers u2022General yard maintenance u2022 Willingness to clean up hazardous spills u2022Ability to effectively communicate and understand needed repairs and/or tasks. u2022Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. u2022Available to help managers and others for additional duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: u2022Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. u2022 Work environment may be indoors in a shop, or outdoors to repair trucks on the road. Usually well-lighted and ventilated. Sometimes necessary to work in awkward or tight positions and to handle greasy or dirty tools. These factors require following basic safety precautions.. u2022The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
