Maintenance Technician Job ID: R-40009 Job Type: Full time Location: Great Bend, Kansas Save Job Saved Job Position Summary / Career Interest:Under the direct supervision of a Maintenance Manager, the maintenance engineer performs general, routine maintenance and servicing operations to maintain the hospital buildings, grounds, and equipment. Responsible for designated portion of these buildings including assigned preventive maintenance and daily non-scheduled work requests.Responsibilities and Essential Job FunctionsCompletes preventive maintenance (PM’s) tasks as scheduledCompletes all maintenance service requests as assignedInspects, operates, and maintains operational equipment; reports deficiencies to managementMakes shift rounds, checking equipment for normal operations, observes meters and gauges, and makes adjustments as neededDocuments log sheets and contacts management/contractor if outside service/repairs are neededMonitors chemicals inventory, use, rotation, and disposal ; monitors working order and efficiency of chemical pumpsMust be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.These statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
