Let Purvis Industries show you how we practice these principles daily The Industrial Mechanic will be working with a Team of trained Industrial Mechanics, in innumerable types of Industrial settings. This will include the use all types of Industrial Hand Tools and Motorized Industrial Equipment. With a collective goal to complete each project within the defined the scope and in the time parameters allowed, without compromising the safety of your other team members or the quality of the work provided. The following is a list of job duties for an Industrial Mechanic. These responsibilities and physical requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsibilities: u2022 Will report to Project Manager for Job assignments. u2022 Will report to Job Lead on site. u2022 Will communicate with Project Manager, and Job Lead. u2022 Will communicate effectively In Person, by Telephone or by Computer. u2022 Will be responsible for meeting personal Safety, Safety Training, and complying with all Safety requirements. u2022 Will be required to Travel. Core Requirements: u2022 Industrial Mechanic with 1-5 years of experience in Industrial setting. u2022 Proficient at Welding and Metal Fabrication in Industrial setting preferred. u2022 Proficient with all types of Hand Tools, Power Tools, Measuring Tools used in Industrial Maintenance, Building Erection and Equipment Installation. u2022 Able to adapt quickly and follow Job Lead's directions to complete project in safe and timely manner. u2022 Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. u2022 Employee must be able to lift products to 70lbs daily. u2022 Must have Valid Driver's License. u2022 Must be able to pass Drug test. u2022 Must be able to pass a background check. u2022 Legally Authorized to work in the US.
