Apply for JobJob ID101419LocationAuroraPosition TypePRNRegular/TemporaryRegularAdd to Favorite JobsEmail this JobJob OverviewSUMMARYLearns to inspect and repair medical equipment for compliance to documented safety and performance standards.Additional InformationDepartment Name: Clinical EngineeringJob Status: PRN as neededShift: Variesu00a0Monday to Friday.POPULATION SPECIFIC CARENo Direct Patient CareESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSLearns to inspect and test malfunctioning medical or related equipment, following the direction of senior biomedical equipment technicians and manufacturers' specifications and using test and analysis instruments.Learns to test or calibrate components or equipment, following the direction of senior biomedical equipment technicians and manufacturers' manuals and troubleshooting techniques, using hand tools, power tools, or measuring devices.Learns to performs repairs and regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on medical equipment for adherence to safety and performance standards.Keeps records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment.u00a0Documents inspections, repairs and other technical activities per department policies and standards of practice.Performs preventive maintenance or service, such as cleaning, lubricating, or adjusting equipment.Tests, evaluates, and classifies excess or in-use medical equipment and determine serviceability, condition, and disposition, in accordance with regulations.SCOPE AND LEVELGuidelines: Trains in the field and assists higher level personnel to acquire learning through practical plexity: Performs routine and basic tasks common to the field.
