Position SummaryThe Route Driver is responsible for transporting products and materials between customer locations, warehouses, and distribution points. This role includes loading/unloading, maintaining accurate delivery records, and ensuring timely, efficient routes. Shift & Pay1st Shift: Typically 7:00 AM -- 3:30 PM (may vary slightly by route)Pay: $19/hourLocation:u00a0Dayton, OH Responsibilities- Complete scheduled delivery routes safely and on time- Load and unload products using proper equipment and lifting techniques- Verify delivery orders, collect signatures, and maintain accurate documentation- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues promptly- Follow assigned routes and adapt to real-time changes- Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point- Keep delivery vehicle clean and organized- Comply with all company and DOT safety policies Requirements- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record- Previous driving or delivery experience preferred- Ability to lift 40--50 lbs throughout the shift- Strong time-management and communication skills- Reliable attendance- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the route
