Full-timeJOB TITLE: Supervisor Early ProgramSalary: $65,000-$70,000 per yearReport to Program DirectorSupervises 3 family counselors 1 case aideI. RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited toSupervise 3 full-time Family Counselors and 1 full-time Case Aide providing counseling and case management to 36 families, and facilitating groups and school-based activities across 4 schools in Sunset ParkProvide clinical and administrative guidance for work with families using a family systems perspective and a focus on increasing families economic stabilityIn coordination with the Program Director, embody a leadership presence, including providing the philosophical framework related to the CFL neighborhood-based, family-focused, social group work practice?modelCo-plan and co-lead staff meetings and provide professional training workshopsAttend sessions with Family Counselors and families to collaborate and model for staff, including home visits, when neededDirectly manage crises and provide coverage for client care as neededCoordinate staffs participation in school-based outreach and engagement activitiesAs part of the leadership team plan and support implementation of parent and childrens groupsSupport the implementation of the Families and Schools Together (FAST) program, led by the School Outreach Liaison, including attending training and possibly co-facilitating groupsManage effective collaboration between Family Counselors and the Benefits Specialist to ensure that all families are screened and enrolled in needed benefitsHelp plan and contribute to school-based outreach and engagement activities to develop relationships with partner schools and familiesCollaborate closely with CFL school-based programs (after school, Neighborhood Center, etc.)Ensure supervisees complete required training and have professional development plansEnsure proper and timely utilization of PROMIS and CONNECTIONSEnsure all case record documentation is maintained and meets ACS and OCFS standardsComplete required documentation and data entryAttend program staff meetings, supervision, school-based meetings, and trainingsBuild relationships with community-based service providers and key stakeholdersCollaborate with all CFL programs to ensure an integrated approach to serving familiesAssume responsibility for special projects as neededII. QUALIFICATIONSMSW or an equivalent human services graduate degreeLicense and prerequisites for supervising Masters degree level interns, preferredBilingual in Spanish or Mandarin requiredPrevious Supervisory experience requiredAt least two years of relevant child welfare experiencePrevious direct service work with familiesExperience working in, or in partnership with, schools preferredGroupwork skills and experience preferredPossess a social justice perspective and ability to collaborate with culturally and socioeconomically diverse groupsIII.
