POSITION DESCRIPTION and#10;In this role you will perform both routine and complex repairs and maintenance on all types of motor and#10;vehicles in the postal fleet. You will troubleshoot and diagnose more complex vehicle malfunctions. and#10;Diagnose vehicles and perform operational checks on engines, major supporting systems, parts and and#10;components and#10;Perform various computerized and electronic diagnostic tests using specialized equipment and#10;Prepare and update vehicle records, annotate labor time, and manage work orders and#10;Conduct visual and auditory vehicle inspections and road calls and#10;EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must successfully complete Postal Service Test 943 and and#10;Test 944, to demonstrate their knowledge and ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and make minor and and#10;major repairs to automotive systems. and#10;This is a career position which offers excellent benefits.
