Every day is a chance to learn something new and turn vacation inspiration into exceptional experiences for millions of travelers worldwide. + Job Summary The Vacation Sales Agent works with popular local attractions such as ports, and attends events such as trade shows, festivals, and conferences to connect with the public as a brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure. In this sales-based role, engages in face-to-face conversations with prospective customers and share information about the vacation club experience. Invites and incentivizes guests to attend award-winning vacation ownership presentations. How You'll Shine: + Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure + Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour + Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines + Make vacation package sales and collect payment on site. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Make vacation package sales and collect payment on site in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals + Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually. What Youu2019ll Bring + High school diploma or GED. + Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus. + Sales-minded professionalism. + Hospitality, sales or marketing experience. + Ability to overcome challenges and objections. + Ability to work in a goal and performance-based environment. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. + Detect: Must be able to detect and respond to verbal cues and customer inquiries in a busy outdoor environment. + Environmental Exposure: Must be able to work in outdoor conditions including sun, wind, and varying temperatures. Work Environment This role is primarily performed outdoors at resort locations, events, and promotional venues. Noise levels may vary from moderate to high depending on the location. Protective gear and sun protection may be provided or required.
