CCTV Install / Service Tech

Job Title: Low Voltage CCTV Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Electrician to join our team as a technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, with a primary focus on CCTV, fire alarm and security systems in commercial and industrial settings. This individual will also be required to complete installation work. Responsibilities + Install, test, and maintain CCTV systems and other low voltage systems such as fire alarms and access control. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. + Pull, terminate, and label low voltage wiring and cabling. + Program and configure fire alarm control panels and related devices. + Perform inspections to ensure systems comply with local codes. + Troubleshoot and repair system faults and malfunctions. + Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on job sites. + Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. + Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients. Essential Skills + Minimum 5 years of experience in low voltage electrical work, preferably in fire alarm / cctv systems. + Working knowledge of codes. + Valid driveru2019s license with a clean driving record. + Ability to provide own tools. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces. + Capable of working in various environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Work with low voltage and high voltage is accepted but not required. + Specific industry training will assist with higher pay rate. + Experience in conduit, schematic, cable, power tool, pulling wire, installation, construction, repair, low voltage, fire alarm system, and security system.
