This position will provide facility oversight, ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for participants, and provide positive community engagement for healthy lifestyles. Department Starting Salary: $42,629 Essential Functions Essential functions include but are not limited to: + Provides Personal training and/or group Fitness classes (where applicable) + Responsible for cleaning of all fitness equipment and reporting maintenance when necessary + Enforces facility rules and regulations. + Ability to lead and implement fitness programs including assessments and orientations. + Provides tours to prospect members, informing them of the facilities programs and amenities. + Completes daily cleaning, patronu2019s utilization and equipment checks. + Checks members in to the facility using Rec-trac Recreation Software + Responsible for providing top notch customer service in person and via phone. + Provides programming for Kids ages 5-14 for NFWCu2019s Youth Fit programs. + Daily operations of the facility to include patron monitoring, scheduling clients, facility maintenance and security + Demonstrate ability to effectively supervise subordinates and work in a team environment. + Responsible for supervision of the fitness floor ensuring patrons are utilizing equipment properly. Education/Experience Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature which may be obtained with six months/one year of advanced study or training past the high school equivalency. Junior college, vocational, business, technical or correspondence schools are likely sources. Appropriate certification may be awarded upon satisfactory completion of advanced study or training. Six months experience.
