Our clinical RDs are highly integrated within the multidisciplinary team on the inpatient units and outpatient clinics at Children's Hospital Colorado. For this position we are looking for a driven, team-oriented RD to join our team in the General Medicine and Rehab patient populations with cross coverage of other inpatient units and outpatient clinics as needed.The Clinical Dietitian Associate develops the skills to provide comprehensive, safe, and ethical medical nutrition therapy to patients, families, and other clients in inpatient or outpatient settings.Shift Details:u00a04-10's; M-F with a fluctuating day off. Occasional weekends and holidays.This position is eligible for relocation assistance, if relocating from 100 miles or greater.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAn employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. Assesses, plans, and delivers accurate medical nutrition therapy using established standards and evidence.2. Incorporates principles of culture-competence and family-centered care.3. Actively contributes to rounds, care conferences, and care coordination. Proactively connects with Clinical Nutrition team members and other disciplines in the organization to identify Clinical Nutrition-related issues, potential solutions, and opportunities for quality and process improvement.7. Ensures compliance with established regulatory standards and healthcare regulatory requirements by identifying and following policies and procedures for the nutritional care provided.8. Accurately documents patient care and tracks time/activities for use with benchmarking, billing, and/or productivity in accordance with department standards.9. Financial Responsibility: Assists in achieving departmental financial budget targets.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION - Bachelor's DegreeEXPERIENCE - Preferred 1+ years as a RD, experience in Pediatrics and nutrition support.EQUIVALENCY - NoneCERTIFICATION(S) - N/ALICENSURES - Registered Dietitians (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) adhering to the Commission of Dietetic Registration guidelines.Salary InformationPay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $54,790.77 to $82,186.16Benefits InformationHere, you matter.
