Job Description PrincipleDuties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Develop and applybasic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/orequipment, as appropriate to area of specialization. Perform repairs ofmechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies through removals,repair or replacement of defective parts and/or fabrication ofreplacement parts, and installations in accordance with blueprints,component maintenance manuals, vendor documents, verbal instructions,engineering dispositions, On The Job Training (OJT), and otherauthorized maintenance data. All activities to be in accordance withRepair Station requirements ensuring all parts and assemblies meetconformance. Set up and operate necessary test equipment in accordancewith required. documentation to perform functional and operational testsof mechanical and electrical aircraft components for return to spect all detail parts using blueprints, component and/or overhaulmanuals and other required. maintenance data to ensure conformityrequirements are met. Maintain and utilize all required. paperwork inaccordance with FAA Repair Station requirements. Maintain a clean andorderly work area including test equipment and peripherals. Comply withall company and legislative environmental health and safety regulations.Additional Functions: Remove skins and related components on flightcontrols and secondary structure components, locate andinstall/reinstall parts. . Remove and install APUs and perform allrequired. APU maintenance for all Gulfstream aircraft models. Read andunderstand Gulfstream and Honeywell Maintenance Manuals regarding APUmaintenance and repair. . Fabricate and repair sheetmetal and associatedmechanical parts, components and/or equipment by rolling, shrinking,stretching, braking, riveting or other mechanical means. . Fabricate andrepair wiring and electrical assemblies and harnesses utilizingacceptable repair and fabrication processes including splicing,soldering, and pinning of wires. .
