Nurse Practitioner - Erie Urgent Care Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $53.90- $80.85 an hour - Per Diem Days, Various shifts and hours per week Range includes per diem differential. +$2.50/hr for weekend shifts. Boulder Community Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner For Erie Urgent Care who provides episodic care to patients in the Urgent Care setting within the standards and practices of a Family Nurse Practitioner. Facilitates the care of patients with minor illness. Three years of professional nursing experience in an emergency setting preferred Two years experience as NP preferred Responsibilities u2022Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients. u2022Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed. u2022Performs a thorough physical exam, and records findings. Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients. u2022Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. u2022Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention. u2022Administers medications and injections as needed. Sutures minor lacerations. u2022Interviews and advises patients regarding health and illness prevention. u2022Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provides patient education and discharges patients when appropriate. u2022Maintains and reviews patientsu2019 records, charts, and other pertinent information.
