We're Hiring an Account Specialist Job Summary: The Account Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to grow the companyu2019s customer base and increase revenue. They identify and pursue new sales opportunities, build and maintain relationships with existing clients, and present products or services to potential customers. Light Industry Sales (LIT) team, which provides a complete line of pretreatment, generation, storage, and distribution solutions for high purity and wastewater applications in aerospace, beverage, government, health sciences, microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, universities, labs, and general industry. The role involves conducting market research, preparing sales reports, and meeting sales targets. Account Specialists must have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage their sales territory effectively Responsibilities: Lead Generation: u2022 Identify potential leads through market research and networking u2022 Cold calling and emailing to reach out to prospects u2022 Qualify leads and schedule appointments with potential customers Customer Outreach: u2022 Build relationships with existing and potential customers u2022 Follow up with previous customers to maintain their business u2022 Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information u2022 Conduct product demos and presentations for interested customers Sales Presentations and Reporting: u2022 Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers u2022 Customize presentations to address specific customer needs u2022 Highlight product features and benefits to showcase value u2022 Effectively communicate pricing and negotiate deals u2022 Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities u2022 Prepare sales reports and provide updates to management u2022 Make recommendations for improving sales strategies u2022 Monitor and meet sales targets and goals Account Management: u2022 Maintain and nurture relationships with current customers u2022 Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling u2022 Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns u2022 Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met Order Processing: u2022 Accurately enter and process orders from customers u2022 Work closely with logistics and shipping departments to ensure timely delivery u2022 Communicate order updates and any potential delays to customers u2022 Handle order changes and returns Customer Service: u2022 Provide exceptional customer service and support u2022 Address and resolve customer complaints or issues u2022 Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times u2022 Ensure customer satisfaction and retention Product Knowledge: u2022 Develop a thorough understanding of company products and services u2022 Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings u2022 Educate customers on product features and benefits u2022 Continuously learn and adapt to new product releases and updates. Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. u2022Knowledge of mechanical and pumping designs; hydraulic, pneumatics, water flow, diesel, gas, and electric motors in related field of pumps, pumping systems preferred. u2022 Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. u2022 Proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., SalesForce, CRM systems). u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. u2022 Strong negotiation and closing skills. u2022 Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques. u2022 Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and plans. u2022 Local Travel requirement 10% Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
