Systems Development Engineer, Antenna System Validation

DescriptionAmazon LEO is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Key job responsibilities As a senior systems development engineer, you will work with a wide variety of functional groups and will be involved in the design and implementation of software systems for phased array antennas validation and test, as well as overall system integration: - Develop tools for characterizing antenna RF and system performance. - Develop software and test rack automation to support production test stations. - Support electrical and software bring-up, debug of new hardware. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized validation and verification software. - Plan, develop and implement environmental test activities for phased array antennas. - Implement DSP FPGA firmware to map high-level algorithms from Matlab or C to architecture-specific code. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
