Description: You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the THAAD Global Supply Chain team. Our team ensures the timely delivery of highu2011quality products to our customers, coordinating across engineering, logistics, finance, and external partners to make every piece of the puzzle fit together. What You Will Be Doing As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will lead the endu2011tou2011end subcontracting process for critical THAAD components, acting as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our tier suppliers. You will own the strategy, execution, and risku2011mitigation for subcontract agreements while mentoring junior staff and driving continuousu2011improvement initiatives across the supply chain. Your responsibilities will include: u2022 Develop, negotiate, and execute subcontract agreements that meet cost, schedule, and performance targets. u2022 Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations, conducting regular reviews and corrective action plans as needed. u2022 Lead risk assessments, identify potential supply chain disruptions, and implement mitigation strategies. u2022 Collaborate with engineering, program management, quality, and logistics to align subcontract deliverables with system requirements. u2022 Manage the subcontract lifecycle from source selection, through award, performance monitoring, to close out. u2022 Drive compliance with internal policies, export control regulations, and government contract clauses. u2022 Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and key metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Basic Qualifications: u2022Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level. u2022Experience in subcontract management Desired Skills: u2022Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting types u2022In depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios. u2022Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines u2022Experience with long-form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) u2022Aerospace program negotiation skills and experience u2022Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure u2022Experienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representative u2022Self-Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignments u2022Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management u2022Ability to be flexible and accept change u2022Must be able to resolve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. u2022Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) u2022Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in dynamic work environment; ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions by exercising sound problem solving skills u2022Experience in Defense, government or aerospace Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
