The Carlisle Sleep Lab is looking for various Sleep Technologists to join their growing and supportive team. Including: Polysomnographic Sleep Tech, Sleep Technologist, Senior Sleep Technologist. Apply today Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. No holidays manager will explain weekend availability. Training Schedule: Day shift from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. then will transition to nights. The salary range for this position is $21.70 - $38.51 based on experience Responsibilities: + While utilizing critical thinking and following department policy and procedure under indirect supervision of medical director or designee + Sleep study preparation including but not limited to review of patient chart, testing order, and proper patient identification + Sleep study set up including the application of electrodes and sensors according to AASM recommendations with explanation of testing procedure to patient. + Sleep study procedure + Perform all aspects of in-center study acquisition with a focus on quality, while delivering exceptional patient care + Perform all aspects of out of center study acquisition (when applicable) with a focus on quality, while delivering exceptional patient care + Analyze and score sleep studies + Clean equipment and patient rooms + Perform routine equipment maintenance and care + Inventory and restock lab supplies + Demonsrtate continued scoring competency with adequate completion of monthly AASM ISR requirement + Participate in department projects under supervision of lead sleep technologist and manager + Performs all duties in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors + Performs other duties as assigned + Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors _Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary from the Sleep Technologist Career Ladder, based on their individual experience and education_ Polysomnographic Sleep Tech: + HS diploma (required) + 6 months relevant experience in an allied-health field (preferred). Sleep Technologist: + HS graduate required. + Graduate from an education program in polysomnography accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) required. + Sleep credential from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT), the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT-SDS or RRT-SDS) or the American Board of Sleep Medicine (RST). Senior Sleep Technologist: + HS graduate required. + Graduate from an education program in polysomnography accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) required. + Sleep credential from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT), the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT-SDS or RRT-SDS) or the American Board of Sleep Medicine (RST) required. + 3 years of experience required. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: + Enroll/complete ASTEP in 60 days; RST, CPSGT, or RPSGT in one year (if CPSGT, must obtain RPSGT within three years). + BLS required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) OR Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) with sleep credential (CRT-SDS) OR Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep credential (RRT-SDS) + Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) OR Registered Polysomnographic Technologist OR Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) + Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal + Act 33 with renewal + Act 34 with renewal + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
