Nursery Worker

Nursery stock will include shrubs,trees, palms, agaves, aloes, euphorbia, cacti. Workers may use handtools such as shovels, trowels, shears, watering equipment, and knives.Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers. Duties mayinclude loading and unloading nursery stock on yard trailers, deliverytrucks, and customer trucks as well as shifting and replanting nurserystock from one planting container to the next, larger plantingcontainer. Some operating of farm equipment may be required. Duties mayinclude irrigation repair; construction or repair of temporarygreenhouses or shade structures; and development of new growing areas.
