(480)748-351042 temporary full-time Carnival Workers from 3/4/26 -12/30/2026.Perform a variety of attending duties at amusement or recreationfacility. Sell and collect tickets/fees, assist patrons; erect, takedown, operate/attend amusement booths and maintain equipment; makechange; sell and serve food. Prepare simple daily food items andbeverages-typical carnival foods such as sandwiches, salads, soups,corndogs, pizza, following specific methods that usually require shortpreparation time. Using proper safety precautions and sanitary measuressuch as grills, deep-fat fryers, griddles, hot plates, poppers, andsmoker. Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking using knivesor slicers. Following simple specified instructions: to organize, set upthe booth with food items and equipment according to a provided checklist. Using basic cleaning supplies such as Dawn, Windex, Mr. Clean,sanitizer tablets and following proper safety precautions and sanitarymeasures ensure all items are cleaned and stored in a specified safemanner for transportation. Setup and take down tools include: ladder,hammers, screw drivers. All required tools are provided. Set-up,replenish/clean and ready for service, tear-down pack up and close downbooth. Heavy lifting & physically mobile, operate food concessionsand/or games and amusement rides.Hours, schedule and days vary - sample shift time: 10am-7pm, 1-hourunpaid break; 35-40hrs./wk. extra hours may be required or available,may include weekends and holidays. Work needs (i.e., hours, days,schedule, location, and work positions) vary. Work needs subject toindustry practice and are not guaranteed per day, per week, perschedule, per location, or per worker, e.g., rainouts, brief periodswithout scheduled events, event dates and hours set by agreement withsponsor and subject to change (based upon adverse weather, hours ofoperation, day of the week, attendance, size of the event, schoolschedules, amount of equipment in operation, staffing, etc.), andunforeseen cancellations. In the event of approved, overlapping events,work needs may cause workers to be adjusted. Work is performed outsidein all weather.Pay varies based on location of each worksite, $17.42 to $21.81 anhour. No overtime is expected, but if work necessitating OT occurs, itwill be paid in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Locallaws. Employer reserves the option to provide additional compensationfor performance/tenure or may increase wages based on changes in marketconditions.Travel required and provided to work in Maricopa, Pinal, and PimaCounty, AZ; Snohomish, Skagit, Spokane, Whatcom, Benton, Pierce, andKing County, WA; Multnomah County, OR, Salt Lake County, UT; Orange,Riverside, San Bernardino, Sonoma and Los Angeles County, CA, and ClarkCounty, NV. Travel provided to all events as per itinerary. Must commutefrom home at prior worksite to next worksite. Optional transportation toworksites provided at no cost to the worker.Employer will make all deductions from workers paycheck required by law.Employers optional shared housing is provided at no cost to the worker.Local convenience travel valued at ($20/wk.), and food available forwage credit and/or deduction, or any lesser amount to the maximum extentnot prohibited by law. The employer may also make the following paydeductions, if worker elects: recovery of any loss to the employer dueto the worker's damage (beyond normal wear and tear) or loss ofequipment where it is shown that the worker is responsible, and anyother reasonable deductions expressly authorized by the worker inwriting. No deduction not required by law will be made that brings thework rs hourly earnings below the FLSA Federal statutory minimum wage.Pay received weekly, single workweek used for computing wages.Required uniform provided at no charge the worker. Employer will provideworkers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required toperform job. On the job training provided.No minimum experience or education required. Must be willing to work upto 7days/wk. The job requires that the applicant be qualified, ready,willing, able, and available to perform during the entire employment atthe designated worksites under adverse weather; to enter into and complywith employment contracts; to follow workplace rules; and to meet jobperformance standards. Must comply with grooming requirements and dresscode. Subject to discharge for cause. Applicants must cooperate with andcomplete job application and interview truthfully.H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visaprocessing, border crossing, and other related fees, including thosemandated by the government (excluding passport fees).Allowed costs of inbound transportation provided (including meals and,to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment, if theworker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrangeand pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place ofrecruitment to the place of work.
