Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking anu00a0Account Service Representative (Personal Banker)u00a0to assist with the daily retail operations and activities of the St. Matthews Office, located at 4220 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY. Candidates must possess exceptional service skills, professionalism, confidentiality, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills. Previous credit union or financial institution experience is preferred. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis. If applicable, an initial six-eight week paid training program will be held in Evansville, IN.u00a0Approved travel expenses (hotel, meals, mileage, etc) will be included. If you are interested in applying for this position, please click Apply.Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:u00a0 Serve as a primary Account Service Representative (Personal Banker).u00a0Meet with members to determine their banking needs and recommend appropriate accounts.u00a0Assist members with enrolling in credit union products and services.u00a0Maintain an active knowledge base of credit union account types, services, guidelines, policies, and procedures.u00a0Ensure all required account documents are completed accurately.u00a0Strive to meet cross sell goals.u00a0Assist members with certificates, IRA and HSA accounts.u00a0Serve as a Notary Public and Signature Guarantee for credit union transactions.u00a0Open and close safe deposit boxes.u00a0Maintain a working knowledge of the credit unionu2019s core processing system.u00a0 Serve as a Consumer Loan Processor.u00a0Meet with members to determine their lending needs and recommend appropriate loan type.u00a0Maintain an active knowledge base of lending products, guidelines, policies, and procedures.u00a0Identify and recommend additional products that meets the memberu2019s needs.u00a0Ensure all required lending documents are completed accurately.u00a0Make follow up outbound calls to members to inquire about lending needs.u00a0u00a0Strive to support branch lending goals.u00a0 Serve as back-up Teller/Member Service Representative (MSR).u00a0Perform various member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.u00a0Ensure transactions are posted efficiently and correctly.u00a0Assist in balancing branch cash machines.u00a0Ensure cash drawer is in balance daily.u00a0Answer member telephone inquiries.u00a0Strive to meet MSR cross sell goals and work to support all branch goals and initiatives.u00a0 Open and close the office on a rotating basis or when necessary.u00a0 Serve as Saturday manager or any other assigned position on a rotating basis.u00a0 Assist branch office with record keeping of employee absences and training when necessary.u00a0 Develop a working knowledge of the credit unionu2019s data and word processing system.u00a0 Any other duties assigned by my supervisor or management.u00a0Qualifications:u00a0 Must have a HS diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age.u00a0 Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel to other office locations when needed.u00a0 Must be able to stand for long periods of time and do some heavy lifting.u00a0 Must have 1-2 years of cash handling experience.u00a0 Banking experience is desired.u00a0Benefits and Compensation: Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick and Personal Days) Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) retirement program with matching funds Employer paid Group Term Life Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance Tuition Reimbursement ProgramLiberty FCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer, Minority/Female/Disability/Protected Veteran.u00a0 Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilitiesApply Here:
