This position providesstrategic leadership and operational oversight for the development,implementation, and continuous improvement of alternative academic andcredentialing models, including Competency-Based Education (CBE), Creditfor Prior Learning (CPL), and other flexible learning pathways toincrease student access to educational opportunities. This position willhelp to ensure programmatic alignment with business and industry needsthrough the development (or enhancement) of alternative credentials.This position reports to the Vice President of Academic Services andcollaborates closely with academic administrators, faculty, studentservices, and workforce development. We are seeking applicants from allbackgrounds and experiences to ensure we create a diverse workforce andlearning environment.Required Qualifications:Master's degree in education, curriculum and instruction, highereducation administration, instructional design, or a related fieldDemonstrated knowledge of CBE, CPL, adult learning theory, andinstructional design modelsThree years experience in academic leadership, curriculum development,or instructional designExperience working with faculty and cross-functional teams to implementacademic initiativesExceptional organizational and time management skills with a provenability to be flexible, manage complex projects and meet deadlinesStrong communication, self-direction and data analysis skillsEmployment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminalbackground check.Preferred Qualifications:Doctorate in related fieldExperience with state and federal regulations pertaining to CPL and CBEProject Management certificationFamiliarity with DACUMExperience designing and implementing competency-based curriculum andprogramsPhysical Requirements:Position Salary Starting salary is likely to be between $75,471 and$101,872 per year with an excellent benefits package Requisition Detail Information:Open Date: 10/27/2025Last Day to ApplyOpen Until Filled: YesSpecial Instructions to Applicants:This position will be open until filled; however, applications must bereceived on or before Sunday, November 16, 2025, to be considered duringthe initial review window.This position will have first round ofinterviews via TEAMS the beginning of December.
