Facilities & Maintenance Technician

The Eastwood Company is looking for a versatile Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support building operations, equipment maintenance, safety inspections, and general facility needs. This role requires strong technical skills, reliability, and the ability to manage diverse tasks across the facility and grounds.Why Join The Eastwood Company?Positive and supportive work environmentCompetitive compensation packageComprehensive benefits: health, life insurance, disability, and matching 401k planOpportunity to contribute to a thriving DIY automotive brandKey ResponsibilitiesGeneral Facility MaintenancePerform building repairs: lighting, ceilings, walls, baseboards, painting, doors, and hardware.Maintain floors, strip/seal periodically, and support ongoing concrete and blacktop repairs.Handle plumbing repairs (sinks, toilets) and replace A/C filters as needed.Manage pest control, snow removal, grounds cleanup, and weekly plant care.Safety & ComplianceConduct monthly inspections: fire extinguishers, emergency lights, fire pump.Maintain AED units, eyewash stations, and ensure CPR training compliance.Manage hazardous waste and coordinate proper disposal.Maintain company generator.Equipment & Warehouse MaintenanceMaintain/repair forklifts, conveyor systems, tape machines, compressors, bubble machines, and refrigerators.Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and add circuits as stall and maintain warehouse racking.Clean product spills and support product testing/repair.Supply & Inventory SupportOrder and restock restroom and toiletry supplies.Restock coffee each morning.Order repair parts and materials.Manage trash and metal recycling.Training & Operational SupportTrain and certify forklift drivers.Assist with office installations (whiteboards, signage, etc.).Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for company anize equipment and supplies for company events and car shows.Additional DutiesSupport general facility improvement projects as assigned.QualificationsExperience in facility maintenance, industrial repair, or similar role preferred.Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.Ability to perform physical labor and lift 50+ lbs.Good organizational and multitasking skills.ScheduleMonday - Friday, occasional weekend workCulture Index SurveyTo help us understand your communication style and motivational needs, we ask all applicants to complete the Culture Index Survey.
