Box Office Attendant

Box Office Attendants are responsible for selling game tickets to patrons at live gate ticket windows. They will manage a designated ticket bank, process transactions through the ticketing system, and ensure accurate and efficient service. Attendants will provide excellent customer service, answer ticket-related inquiries, and assist with resolving any ticketing issues as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Sell game tickets at box office windows using the ticketing system. Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions accuratelyProvide courteous and professional customer service to all guests Answer questions regarding ticket availability, pricing, seating, and promotionsAssist with will-call ticket distribution and resolve ticketing issues promptlyFollow all box office policies and procedures, including security and fraud preventionCreate exceptional experience for all guests through a safe, clean, and friendly environmentQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Previous customer service experience preferredPrevious ticketing system experience preferred but not requiredStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest service and professionalismAbility to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detailMust be at least 16 years of ageEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or trainingWork Hours Hours vary according to the game and event schedule, which will include weekends and some holidays.Must have availability to work all home games and most special events.
