The Production Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machines and tools to produce precision parts, instruments, and finished products. Includes precision instrument work to fabricate, and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines. This role is located in Coldwater, OH and will be fully on-site.Starting Pay: $26.51/hr.Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 2nd Shift (5:00 pm - 3:00 am) or 3rd Shift (9:00 pm - 7:00 am)Pay Schedule: WeeklyProduction Machinist Responsibilities:Load and down load programs from diskSetup all gages for jobAble to use all precision gagesSet machine up and load new toolingTouch off new tooling in machineRun program in graphics and notice obvious mistakesMake necessary offset in tool dataBasic understanding of tolerancesProduction Machinist Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.1-3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing or production environmentAbility to set up, operate, and adjust manual and/or CNC machinesProficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicatorsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructionsCommitment to safe work practicesAttention to detail and strong problem-solving abilitiesWieland is anequal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
