Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager

Description ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SUPERVISOR Established East Bay company working in contractor trade industries is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor. The primary responsibilities for this position are trade receivable collections, securing collateral for large transactions, customer receipts postings, determination of customer credit worthiness and credit limits, and working with office staff on tasks related to company requirements. A successful candidate will have effective organizing skills, time management skills, and extreme attention to detail and accuracy. Position reports directly to the Controller. Responsibilities: u2022 Multi-company trade receivable collections and management of customer remittances u2022 Establish, maintain and update customer credit limits and manage customer accounts u2022 Secure collateral for large trade transactions, including pre-lien and lien positions u2022 Manage multi-branch communication/phone systems u2022 Manage company fleet registration, insurance and reporting requirements u2022 Manage company Certificate of Insurance requirements u2022 Reconciliation of company railcar movements (monthly) and filing of annual reports u2022 Filing of miscellaneous annual reports as needed u2022 Company projects as needed Requirements: u2022 5+ Years of Accounting experience u2022 Experience in Accounts Receivable within the construction industry (or similar) u2022 Experience with MS Office, especially Excel u2022 Working knowledge of pre-lien transactions u2022 Working knowledge of ERP accounting system preferred (MAS200) u2022 Solid communication skills, both written and verbal u2022 Strong attention to detail u2022 Strong organizing skills u2022 Experience with intercompany transactions preferred Requirements Accounts Receivable (AR), Collections - Commercial, Cash Applications, Aging Reports, Billing Functions Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
