Remote Software Engineer (Tech Debt)

Job Description An employer is seeking multiple software engineers to join a team focused on tech debt. This team will help to refine, develop, and deploy component upgrades, vulnerability remediations, and penetration test remediations to the suite of custom line of business applications. Software engineers should be capable of working with the full Microsoft stack. Upgrade components in existing .NET framework and .NET applications. Components commonly upgraded: u2022u2003Migrate to SQL 2019 u2022u2003Migrate reports to SSRS 2019 u2022u2003Quartz .NET u2022u2003Serilog u2022u2003MassTransit / RabbitMQ u2022u2003Microsoft.OWIN, System.Net.Http u2022u2003Bootstrap u2022u2003Newtonsoft.Json u2022u2003Progress Telerik/Kendo controls Assess and address web application vulnerabilities identified via penetration testing. Assess and address vulnerabilities identified as by the static code analysis tool (Snyk). Address vulnerabilities identified by the internal security team. Participate in agile team ceremonies (refinement, standups, retros, etc). Leverage AI assisted coding and diagnostic tools.
