This position offers you the capacity to provide technical support and assistance while you ensure the comfort and well-being of the patient and family.ResponsibilitiesYou will perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse or PhysicianYou will maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure roomYou will assist the Registered Nurses or Physician in providing patient care as neededYou will perform required Cath and Electrophysiology Lab specific documentation assuring that it is reflective of patient needs, and actions takenYou will assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipmentYou will assist physicians in administering contrast mediaRegistered Nurse (RN) will perform within scope of practice to Registered Nurse licensure until cardiovascular invasive specialist certification is obtainedRequirementsCertification of Washington State radiologic technologist or cardiovascular invasive specialist or to obtain within six (6) months of employment if holding current Registered Nurse (RN) LicenseRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) or current Registered Nurse (RN) LicenseRegistered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) registry as a standard for care provision, previous experience and RCES registry or to obtain within six (6) months of employmentCertification of AHA BLS and ACLS CPROur ValuesAs a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy.
