Preferred CCSA/CCSE Check Point certification. 3. Strong Network Security and Protocol knowledge. Description Key Responsibilities: u2022 Travel to customer locations across assigned regions to perform pre-installation tasks. u2022 Install and organize network cabling (Ethernet, fiber) according to site standards. u2022 Ensure proper power connections for Check Point firewall hardware. u2022 Physically rack and secure firewall devices in designated network racks or cabinets. u2022 Label all cables and equipment accurately following company and customer documentation standards. u2022 Perform basic network connectivity checks (ping, link status) to validate readiness. u2022 Coordinate with the Check Point firewall engineering team to confirm site readiness for configuration and cutover. u2022 Document all work performed, including photos, diagrams, and labeling records. u2022 Adhere to safety and compliance guidelines during on-site work. Qualifications: u2022 CCNA certification (or equivalent networking knowledge). u2022 Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, and basic routing/switching concepts. u2022 Experience with structured cabling and rack-mounted equipment installation. u2022 Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and installation guides. u2022 Familiarity with power requirements for network hardware. u2022 Excellent organizational and documentation skills. u2022 Ability to travel extensively (up to 75%) and work flexible hours, including weekends if required. u2022 Valid driveru2019s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
