Job Title: Welder and Fabricator Job Description Join a dynamic custom job shop as a Welder and Fabricator, where you will play a vital role in supporting the growth of the company. You will be responsible for handling your own materials, interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, and performing flux-core welding on mild steel to complete various projects. During downtime, you may assist with moving materials, painting, fabrication, and other tasks as needed. Responsibilities + Grab and prepare own materials for welding tasks. + Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. + Perform flux-core welding on mild steel. + Contribute to various projects within the company. + Assist with moving materials, painting, and fabrication during downtime. Essential Skills + Proficiency in MIG welding and FCAW welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience in fabrication and flux-core welding. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a custom job shop or similar environment is a plus. + Ability to work on a variety of structural steel projects. Why Work Here? You will work the first shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional work on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knapp, WI.
