Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 for PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital located in Los Angeles, CA. A valid driveru2019s license and acceptable driveru2019s license record check is required. What You'll Do + Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, maintain and calibrate a basic range of clinical equipment, devices, systems and instruments. + Provide advanced support of equipment for direct patient care. + Interact on a routine basis with clinical health providers in the identification of technology based problems and solutions. + Solve organization-level customer service issues and complaints. + Prepare required documentation and reports. + Ensure regulatory compliance. + Financial responsibility for purchasing parts and service. + Demonstrate a safety mindset. What You Bring + A minimum of 3 years of experience repairing, maintaining, and calibrating medical devices independently. + Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. + The ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices. + Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills. + Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices such as: General Biomedical Devices- ESUu2019s, Vital sign machines, Defibrillators, ADu2019s, Telemetry, EKG, IV Infusion Pumps, Patent Monitoring Systems, plus OR, and Ventilators (not all are required).
