As an Assistant Golf Professional, you are a key member of the golf operations team at the property, managing all golf and golf-related activities at the facility. Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, on and off the property, so you can focus on the golfer experience and camaraderie.For more information on our open opportunities, apply todayQualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:2-3 years golf industry experience preferredPGA Member or ApprenticeCollege degree (PGM) preferredOrganized, able to work in fast paced environmentMust have solid supervisory and leadership skillsMust have exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointPosition Responsibilities:Maintain professional appearanceSupervise pro shop staff and outside services staffTrains new pro shop staff and outside services staffMonitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer serviceCoordinate and administer the daily work schedule of the pro shop staffOrder merchandise for sale in the pro shop in conjunction with the Head Golf ProfessionalProcess customer reservations for guests of the golf courseAssist in coordinating of individual, group, and tournament play as directed by the Head Golf ProfessionalProduce daily reports related to rounds, sales, etc. for managementWorks closely with Marshall and Starter to monitor all aspects of play including starting, monitoring pace of play, safety on the course and golf course markingsAssists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the dayPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor or managerExtra InformationMinimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional or other position in the golf business.
