Click here (to learn more Outpatient Physical Therapist - (1.0 FTE) O/P PHYSICAL THERAPY (BILLINGS CLINIC HEIGHTS) req11033 Shift: Day Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater) Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Non-Exempt) Starting Wage DOE: CUSTOM.POSTING.WAGE May be eligible for $10,000 sign on bonus, $10,000 tuition loan repayment, and up to $7500 in relocation assistance The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing direct patient care, evaluations, consultations, and treatments in order to assist patients in reaching maximum physical performance. The Physical Therapist will work in an outpatient therapy office setting. Skilled in evaluating and treating medically stable outpatients. Knowledge in documentation and billing for outpatient services. Oversight of physical therapy assistants, techs and PT students. Essential Job Functions u2022 Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinicu2019s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance. u2022 Evaluates patientsu2019 physical and functional status with regard to developmental and chronological age by administering and Interpreting tests. Develops individual treatment plan to include objective measures-, assessment-, short- and long-term goals, frequency and duration of therapy. Observes and interviews patients, reviews medical charts and consults with physicians or nursing personnel as appropriate. Maintains compliance within departmental QA. u2022 Demonstrates creativity, skill and efficiency in implementing treatment plans that include the use of recognized treatment techniques and modalities appropriate to the age and disability being treated and goals to be achieved. u2022 Documents timely and regular initial evaluations, progress and discharge notes consistent with department policy, regulatory agency and reimbursement requirements. u2022 Completes daily patient charges and documentation u2022 Maintains compliance within departmental QA u2022 Discharge Planning u2022 Monitors patientu2019s progress within the current plan of care to ensure progression is functional and reasonable for continuation of rehab services. u2022 Refers to other services as needed. u2022 Professional Development u2022 Identifies need and sets goals for own professional growth and development; meets all mandatory requirements. Participates and attends educational meetings with respect to continuing education, co-worker in-services, and Billings Clinic educational course offerings to enhance knowledge and further professional skills. u2022 Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance. u2022 Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
