Description: We are _Lockheed Martin_ The Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Line-of-Business Systems Engineering team at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to be the IFG Technical Planning Lead. What You Will Be Doing Your responsibilities will include: u2022 Responsible for planning and driving the execution of Technical Planning for IFG Contracts, including setting and maintaining priorities. u2022 Provide technical management, leadership, and support to functional teams to help resolve technical, programmatic issues and priorities. u2022 Coordinate with technical teams across all Engineering domains as well as other Functions (i.e. Production, Sustainment, Quality, Supply Chain) to ensure all engineering elements of the product, workflows, and their dependencies are appropriately defined and documented as required. u2022 Provide analysis of existing technical documents that define the current plan and provide recommendations/path forward to increase technical integrity of the product. u2022 Review and approval of all IFG tech planning artifacts and input. This includes: the technical planning configuration matrix, inputs to the OBS/WBS, capturing/managing technical ground rules & assumptions, integrated schedule development and evaluations, input to risk and opportunities, etc., BOE/TSOW statements, and meeting content prior to formal incorporation. u2022 Elevate Issues as Identified During the Development of the Technical Plan to Engineering/PM/LOBE Leadership as Needed and Provide Support in Issue Resolution. u2022 Serve as champion of Technical Planning process improvements through the communication to and education of LoBE stakeholder. EngineeringAeronautics Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering (Systems, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) from an accredited college u2022 Experience and/or knowledge of the Systems Engineering Process u2022 Knowledge/experience working with proposals u2022 Active SECRET security clearance Desired Skills: u2022 Detailed Technical Planning experience/understanding u2022 Air Systems experience in multiple disciplines (System Design, Verification, Systems Integration & Test (SI&T), Flight Test, Software, Supplier management, etc.) u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills u2022 Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team u2022 Experience with Risk & Opportunity Management Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
