Individual is required to apply knowledge either gained on-the-job or previous experience of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic theory and procedure to trouble shoot, perform preventative maintenance and complete necessary repairs. The overall goal is to assist in minimizing downtime due to breakdown repairs and PM's as well as optimize the quality of products manufactured to the highest degree.Reporting RelationshipMaintenance ManagerSpecific Responsibilities / Essential FunctionsApply knowledge of the following in maintenance and repair of blowmold and injection, auxiliary and support equipment:MechanicalElectricalPneumaticHydraulic theory and procedureApplies knowledge of machines and processes for each of the following to analyse, set-up and maintain equipment for safe and continuous operation:BlowmoldInjectionDrying ApparatusMechanical SystemsConstructionAbility to apply knowledge of each technical requirement:Electrical SkillsAbility to read electrical schematics and identify symbols and control circuits with a reasonable degree of competency. Includes ability to understand and trouble-shoot PLC program and logicAbility to competently and with a reasonable degree of accuracy trouble-shoot electrical circuitsMust be capable of working on the installation of PLC's, change motors, install relays and starters, and install control circuitsHydraulic SkillsAbility to read hydraulic schematics and identify symbols and control circuits with a reasonable degree of competencyAbility to competently and with a reasonable degree of accuracy troubleshoot a hydraulic circuitMust be capable of working on equipment to repair, change or upgrade the status of equipmentMechanical SkillsMust be capable of performing maintenance on all types of equipment represented in the plant with a reasonable degree of skill and competencyMust have a reasonable degree of skill with refrigeration, drying, conveying, fluid pumps, blowing and vacuum pumps, pneumatic circuits and welding / fabricationFollows all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Amcor
