Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Colleyville, Texas or Plano, Texas. This role involves overseeing the preparation of intricate tax returns, managing client relationships, and providing strategic tax planning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax, entity formation, and tax compliance. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and review complex tax returns, including corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates. u2022 Lead and mentor staff to ensure quality and timely completion of tax-related tasks. u2022 Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor for their tax needs. u2022 Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for strategic tax planning and optimization. u2022 Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations while minimizing risks. u2022 Utilize tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx to streamline tax preparation processes. u2022 Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance. u2022 Assist in entity formation and restructuring to align with tax strategies. u2022 Conduct annual income tax provisions and related reporting. u2022 Address and resolve any tax-related issues or discrepancies efficiently. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax management or a related role. Bachelors in Accounting with CPA required. u2022 Proficiency in preparing corporate tax returns and understanding complex tax structures. u2022 Hands-on experience with tax software, particularly CCH ProSystem Fx. u2022 Strong knowledge of tax planning strategies and entity formation. u2022 Familiarity with federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client management. u2022 Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively. u2022 Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
