What You'll Do: + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a healthcare location, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout. + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns. + Monitor entry points and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior. + Interact with staff, patients, and visitors to offer assistance and information as needed while maintaining a security-related presence. + Report and document security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures and client requirements. + Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, as directed by site protocols. + Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local law enforcement when required to address security-related situations. Minimum Requirements: + Be at least 21 years of age. + A valid driveru2019s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. + Level III Armed Certification required for roles in Texas only. + Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. + Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred. + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driveru2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
