We are bringing new innovations to the market at an accelerated pace and have a variety of offerings to consumers who want to improve their home décor.Job DutiesThis opportunity requires the Controller to roll up their sleeves and handle the day-to-day accounting work and financial planning. Accounting duties will include month and year-end close, month-end reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, producing financial statements, as well as overseeing payroll.Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and recommendations to Corporate and plant managementFocus on business partnering and cross-functional communication to drive ownership and accountability of financial resultsAnalysis and recommendations for key business projectsEnsure appropriate financial stewardship and compliance of financial reporting with US GAAP and internal controlsManage and develop direct reportsOffer, initiate, and implement recommendations for improved efficiencies or stronger internal controls, including inventoriesDrive process improvements and lead exciting accounting transformation projects to achieve scalability, efficiency, and productivityMaintain procedure documents for tasks performed using Company standard templatesProjects as assignedExpected Travel: ~10%RequirementsEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in AccountingAt least 8+ years of experience working in the accounting/finance field at a medium sized manufacturing companyIdeally you will have a CPA, MBA or CMA and have a strong technical background in financial and cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.You will have a history of implementing robust process and systems while creating effective KPI dashboards to enhance operational effectiveness within a complex, growth focused, high-performance enterprise.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExhibits a professional manner in working with others and strives to establish and enhance working relationships with the operations team to drive growth and efficiencyEffective written and verbal communication skillsAccuracy, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlinesStrong analytical skillsKnowledge of GAAP and Internal ControlsStrong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel and WordHow We Work to Deliver a Best Experience: Our CultureOur Core Value: We do the right thing, alwaysOur Seven Cultural BehaviorsEmpowerment - We trust our people.Ownership - We take 100% responsibility for our roles actions, and results.Leadership - We all lead by example and talk direct with respect (DWR).One Team - We are One Springs Team.Customer First -We consider our customers' needs before evry decision.Continuous Innovation - We are constantly learning, innovating, and improving.Speed - We define priorities and operate with a sense of urgency and agility.
