The Onsite EAP Counselor will possess a clinical licensure; demonstrate a strong clinical background, and the ability to make quick and accurate clinical decisions.Provides short-term counseling, including crisis intervention for individuals at the work-siteFacilitates referral into the benefit plan or community resourcesResponsible for employee-related consultations for behavioral health issues at the workplaceSupports Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) debriefingsProvides employee/management orientations regarding the EAP servicesDelivers training and lunch-and-learn sessionsOther duties as assignedLicensed behavioral health professionalMinimum 3 years of direct clinical experienceBilingual (English and Spanish)Experience providing employer-related consultations in an employment settingKnowledge offacilitating CISMs, training and presentationsSound clinical judgmentExcellent critical thinking skillsAbility to foster partnerships with employer’s leadershipAble to work independently and collaboratively with the employer and ComPsych leadership Must be able to work flexible schedule, usually not to exceed 40 hour weekPreferred knowledge of EAP servicesEEOComPsych is an equal opportunity employer.
