Asphalt Paving Industries is seeking a Paving Operations Manager to be responsible for all operations. In this critical role, you will oversee and manage multiple paving crews, ensuring the successful execution of projects across highways, streets, parking lots, and driveways. You will also have oversight of milling and grading crews, coordinating efforts across all aspects of paving operations. Your leadership and organizational skills will be key to maintaining productivity, safety, and high-quality results. Effective communication with project managers, field staff, and subcontractors will be essential for smooth project execution and ensuring that work is completed on time and within budgetDirectly manage field supervisors, work crews, and other staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed, work and safety standards are maintained, and schedules are metResponsible for bidding on engineered projectsManage projects being inspected by consulting engineers and governmental agency engineersMaintain a high regard for safety for employees and general publicHire, oversee training and development, and perform evaluations for paving employeesReview and monitor employee timecards, driver logs, and work ordersVisit and inspect jobsites and crewsCoordinate purchase and delivery of materialsOversee maintenance of equipmentTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
