Description: What You Will Be Doing Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. May negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery. Basic Qualifications: Operate in a team environment Relevant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing operations and/or material handling and order selection Desired Skills: Experience working with C-130 program parts, processes, internal / external customers Knowledge of MTO, SAP and MRP environments Excellent problem-solving skills and strong customer focus and business knowledge Working knowledge of HAZ-MAT handling and storage procedures and associated equipment Inventory control processes and procedures Able to lead a team and manage/resolve employee conflict Knowledge of government packaging requirements A strong ability to drive change and deliver results Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work in a continuously changing environment Able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Able to work flexible hours and schedules Understands lean manufacturing concepts; ability to lead 6S and drive continuous improvement Ensures flow of parts, materials, and assemblies between or within departments Proficient in Microsoft Office software (WORD, EXCEL, Power Point) Clearance Level: None Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
