Job Title: Warehouse Inventory Specialist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated picker to join our team. This role involves managing warehouse inventory, ensuring the accurate handling of shipments, and maintaining the overall efficiency of warehouse operations. Responsibilities + Download and manipulate Excel spreadsheets from SAP to manage inventory data. + Participate in continuous inventory cycle counts and assist in yearly physical inventories as needed. + Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments for verification purposes. + Unload inbound shipments from trucks, ensuring that materials are received in satisfactory condition. + Load trucks for outbound shipments, ensuring that items are stacked properly to prevent damage. + Pick and pack contents for domestic and international orders, ensuring contents are accurate. + Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Working knowledge of packaging methods and ability to determine packaging requirements + Ability to follow standard work instructions, be reliable and punctual + Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines + Knowledge of spreadsheets for cycle counting responsibilities + Capable of understanding weights and measures Why Work Here? The role requires the use of personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lincolnshire, IL.
