Class A CDL Driver

Class A CDL Driver Location: Chaska, MN Schedule: 6am-2pm Pay: $28/hr About the Role Weu2019re looking for a dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our team In this role, youu2019ll handle local deliveries with occasional long-distance routes, ensuring goods reach customers safely and on time. Youu2019ll also assist with loading/unloading and maintain accurate delivery records. Key Responsibilities + Safely operate a commercial vehicle for local and occasional long-haul deliveries. + Load and unload products using forklifts or pallet jacks when needed. + Verify load accuracy, tag shipments, and confirm counts. + Secure and balance cargo inside the trailer. + Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain activity logs. + Refuel, clean, and maintain vehicle condition. + Report mechanical issues and road incidents promptly. + Plan routes using GPS and ensure timely deliveries. + Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and dispatch. + Comply with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies. Essential Skills & Qualifications + Valid Class A CDL and up-to-date license. + Knowledge of DOT regulations and traffic laws. + Previous experience as a truck driver. + Ability to handle unexpected conditions (traffic, weather). + Experience with pallet jacks; forklift experience preferred. + Ability to pass random drug tests. + Strong communication and basic math skills. + Dependable and safety-focused.
