Mill Operator

Job Title: Mill Operator $24-33/hr DOE and Quality Inspector $24-$28/hr Job Description- Machinist We are seeking a dedicated Mill Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for manufacturing cylinder heads for recreational airplanes. This role requires physical effort and mechanical skills to ensure quality production. Job Description- Quality Inspector + Inspect incoming materials for compliance with design and regulatory standards. + Follow quality system procedures and maintain inspection records. + Read and interpret design data, GD&T, and product specifications. + Conduct in-process inspections and ensure proper self-checking by operators and machinists. + Operate and maintain measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment (optional). + Calibrate test equipment and maintain MS Office proficiency. Responsibilities + Lift and handle cylinder heads throughout the day, weighing between 20-30 pounds. + Grind and deburr parts between the flanges. + Measure and inspect parts using micrometers and calipers, ensuring accuracy and quality. + Document work completed and any defects both on the computer and on traveler documents. + Operate CNC mills, with various machines available, though setup is not required. + Utilize mechanical skills with hand tools, grinders, and measurement tools. Essential Skills + Experience with micrometers and calipers. + Proficiency in CNC operating and machine operation. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Mechanical inclination and experience working with hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with blueprints is advantageous. + CNC schooling or a keen interest in advancing a career in CNC machining is a plus. Why Work Here?
